My HP dv4145ea notebook runs very slowly – in comparison to my father’s ACER Aspire 3000. Both have similar configurations. Mine freezes and is unstable? My installed anti-virus software is AVG and I have uninstalled Symantec.

my computer was going really slow last week I found that the new Yahoo Instant messanger is attacking some computers and making them go really slow, also check your RAM, or try Defraging the hard-drive go to my computer right click on the hard drive and then go to properties, click on the tools tab and hit defragment, also do the complete system check which is right above the defrag and click fix problems as found and do a compleat check up and then after its done defraging restart your computer it might take about a hour or two but it does a really clean check on your hard-drive to make sure its not messed up.

Virus on my computer.?

I just got home a adult web site on my computer, the numerous security warnings about viruses, and my boyfriend sisters, who was alone at home, nestled in his room and apparently asleep. I tried to run anti-virus software is the latest version of AVG Free but he said no because some files are infected. Then I saw a virus scan running on some antivirus programs I've never seen in my computer, but scan something and 40 viruses, trojans, keyloggers and other things, gave me an option to delete but said the free version does not support this feature and would have buy it. What I can do? In addition, the router is connected to my desktop. Wirelessy I connect to my router on my laptop, iPod and iPhone, is there any risk in using these because of the virus on my desktop?

Nokia N73 is a Symbian S60 phone R3. There are no viruses for this environment (only a couple of Russians Trojans J2ME and a piece of spyware called FlexiSpy), so I would not worry too much about anti-virus program so that if I were you. However, if you want to update – Well, the program can be upgraded, but you need two things: 1) the GPRS connection and 2) licensed. Make sure your phone plan allows you GPRS connections. Talk with your mobile service provider if you do not know if this is the case. F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus comes pre-installed on some Nokia phones – but I do not know if this is the case with your phone and do not know if the installation includes a pre-valid license or if you have to buy yourself.
