My HP dv4145ea notebook runs very slowly – in comparison to my father’s ACER Aspire 3000. Both have similar configurations. Mine freezes and is unstable? My installed anti-virus software is AVG and I have uninstalled Symantec.
my computer was going really slow last week I found that the new Yahoo Instant messanger is attacking some computers and making them go really slow, also check your RAM, or try Defraging the hard-drive go to my computer right click on the hard drive and then go to properties, click on the tools tab and hit defragment, also do the complete system check which is right above the defrag and click fix problems as found and do a compleat check up and then after its done defraging restart your computer it might take about a hour or two but it does a really clean check on your hard-drive to make sure its not messed up.
